On 30 May, at 11 am.,  Global Libraries – Bulgaria Foundation is hosting an informational webinar on the  topic of Digital Skills Today.

This event is part of the campaign All Digital Weeks 2024  – for which this year GLBF  is again the national coordinator for Bulgaria.

The informational online seminar will have a duration of 45 min. and will be held in Bulgarian language. Preliminary registration is required by the participants.

Iglika Ivanova is a state expert in the “International Cooperation, European Programs and Regional Activities” Directorate of the Ministry of Culture, a doctoral candidate in the “Media Policy and Law of the EU” and a lecturer at Sofia University. Since 2019, she has been involved in the development of projects and programs in the field of formal and informal education in Bulgaria, organizing campaigns and public forums with wide participation on topics related to media literacy, both nationally and internationally, developing educational resources, conducting trainings for teachers, research in the field of media and information literacy and digital skills. In 2022, she became a member of the Board of the Coalition for Media Literacy and a founding member of the Prof. Renee Hobbs Media Education Lab in Rhode Island, USA. One of the directors is at the global conference MediaEd Forum in its 2023 and 2024 editions.
