The NEDLib project has a three-year implementation period and is supported by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission. The project goal is to increase the information and media literacy skills of library professionals.
In early February 2024, representatives of the six partner organisations gathered in Thessaloniki for the first working meeting on the NEDLib project:
- The University of Library Studies and Information Technologies – Bulgaria (coordinator)
- Global Libraries Bulgaria Foundation
- International Hellenic University – Greece
- National Library of Latvia
- The National Association of Public Librarians and Libraries in Romania (ANBPR)
- Directorate of Books, Archives and Libraries – Portugal
The meeting was hosted by the International Hellenic University and held in the library of the American Farm School, which teaches agricultural sciences from school through to college level.
