A founder and leader of influential organisations, Mihail Boyadzhiev was also a generous donor, helping with ideas and considerable funds.
Mihail’s family is organising a donation campaign in his memory, the funds from which will support the causes of the two foundations which he led as Chairman of the Board: Global Libraries Bulgaria Foundation (GLBF) and BCause.
Donations will go towards:
- An annual scholarship in Mihail’s name awarded by the “Ready for Success” programme, to which he was a donor
- An annual programme of Bulgarian author visits to prisons, one of GLBF’s most recent projects
- Other causes of his family’s choice

GLBF and BCause will work for the long-term life of these causes and to preserve the memory, name and contribution of their colleague and friend. Mihail’s causes are his legacy, not only to his family and friends but also to our wider society.
