The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has opened the application process for the ‘Building a Network of Digital Clubs’ plan. The goal of the plan is to improve access to quality adult education by creating a network of 760 digital clubs throughout Bulgaria.
Each club will be equipped with computers with internet access, open platforms for self-study and electronic learning resources (including for digital skills) that are freely available to the public. Priority will be given to people from disadvantaged groups such as women and Roma.
The policy is part of the wider MLSP initiative “Providing digital skills training and creating a platform for adult education”, financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. IT has a budget of 60 million leva.
The plan will provide more opportunities for inclusion by its remote nature and focus on skills, competencies and qualifications. Each club will have a mentor to help guide users to the trainings best suited to them and to show them how to use the learning platforms and e-services.

In connection with the application procedure, the Administration of the Council of Ministers has organised a series of one-day trainings on working with the Information System for Management and Monitoring of EU Funds in Bulgaria.
