Living Heritage 2010 Program - Small Projects Call for Proposals

The program is targeted at supporting initiatives for the preserving and presenting of local cultural material and non-material heritage with the active participation of local inhabitants. Projects which will be able to present specific products in relation with heritage in the course of their work, such as exhibitions, shows, performances, books, discs, etc., will be financed with priority.

Groups of citizens, boards, clubs, chitalishte, associations, foundations and other citizen structures (excluding companies and individuals) are eligible for participation in the program.

The total budget for gratuitous financng under this call for proposals is BGN 60,000. At least 15 projects are envisaged for financing. The maximum amount of gratuitous financing of a single project is BGN 4,000.

Candidates must ensure a minimum of 20% co-financing of the general project expenses. Their contribution may be in the form of voluntary work, materials, office or technological equipment, etc., or in financial form (cash funding by the local community).

The deadline for submitting applications is 4 March 2010, 18:00 h.
